This policy explains how North Minimal and its partners use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies on northminimal.com. Read it together with the Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Pixels and similar technologies can read or send information when you interact with a page, advertisement or message. Some are essential; others support preferences, analytics, personalization or advertising.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary: required for core storefront, security, fraud prevention, cart, checkout, payments, account access, consent choices, language and currency. These cannot generally be switched off through the consent tool.
Preferences: remember choices and improve site functionality.
Analytics: help us understand visits, interactions, performance and campaign results.
Marketing: help personalize advertising, measure conversions and limit or retarget ads across services.
3. Providers
Shopify supplies the storefront, checkout, consent management, customer events and Network Intelligence. Subject to your choices, managed pixels or integrations may send data to Google & YouTube, Meta/Facebook and Instagram, Pinterest and Shopify Collabs. Other operational services, including Gelato, Printful and Instafeed, may load necessary content or process data for their function but are not automatically classified as advertising-cookie providers.
The exact cookies and technologies can change when Shopify or an integration is updated. The current consent categories shown in Cookie preferences and the providers' current documentation are more reliable than a static list of cookie names.
4. Consent and legal basis
In the EEA, UK and other regions requiring opt-in consent, non-essential analytics, personalization and advertising technologies should not be used until you consent. Necessary technologies are used to provide the service you request and protect the store. You may accept, reject or change non-essential choices at any time through Cookie preferences in the website footer.
5. Retention
Some technologies last only for a browsing session; others remain for a defined period or until deleted. Retention depends on the purpose and provider and can change with service updates. Current details are available through Cookie preferences, your browser storage view and the relevant provider's documentation.
6. Browser controls and signals
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but parts of the store may not work correctly. Consent is normally device- and browser-specific, so you may need to repeat your choice on other devices or after clearing storage. Where legally required and technically supported, we respect Global Privacy Control and Shopify's data-sharing opt-out settings.
